PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS

CREATIVITY

Creativity is encouraged by mentally filling in gaps. Take, for example, the different media of books and movies. If a book says that a car is driving around a corner, there are numerous gaps in this picture, for example it is unclear what color the car is, whether it is driving in a city or in the countryside, how many people are driving it and so on. All these gaps have to be filled in the brain, the readers have to create and complete the picture themselves. In a movie, on the other hand, the picture is fixed and all the previous questions have already been answered too. The creative effort required is therefore significantly lower.

In our view, applied to toys, this means that they should be kept as plain and open as possible, with plenty of gaps that the children can fill creatively themselves. The TAB offers many gaps (and holes to ; ) ) and can be converted into various vehicles and toys and can therefore be part of a wide variety of games.

The entire project is open source and well documented, making it easily expandable and customizable.

LEARNING THROUGH BUILDING

Probably the best way to understand how something works is to build it. The TAB allows building a wide variety of things at a size that most other building toys don't cover, big enough for a child to sit on it and ride around.
